Information provided by you online or otherwise will be processed by Crooklands of Dalton used to provide you with the ordered products, for billing and accounts purposes, and to keep records of the transaction.

In addition to allowing us to check your creditworthiness and process your orders, the personal data you submit, and our records of your visits to the Site, will be used to monitor and improve our service to you, and for marketing purposes.

our mailing list available for marketing purposes to anyone outside Crooklands of Dalton, unless required to do so by a court of competent jurisdiction, will not disclose your personal data to anyone.

 Payment

We will tell you if your payment details cannot be authorised for any reason and may invite you to pay by another method or suggest that you visit our store. Please note that products, prices and offers in our stores may differ from those featured on this site.

We accept all major credit and debit cards. Payment is made at the Internet check out, which can be accessed through your Internet Shopping Trolley. Remember, you can still change your mind at the checkout as to whether you wish to continue with the purchase. 

All Prices and charges on this site are in UK pounds. They include any VAT payable, but exclude delivery charges (Details below). 

We try very hard to ensure that all information on this site is accurate. However, just occasionally, an error canoccur. If we discover an error in the price or description of a product you have ordered, we will tell you and ask you whether you wish to continue with your order or cancel it

When do I give my payment details? 

Payment is made at the Order Payment Stage, which can be accessed through your Internet Shopping Trolley. You can still change your mind at this stage. Payment is only made when you click to Complete your purchase. 

When will I be charged? 

The full purchase price will be charged to your card upon placement of your order. 

Acceptance of Terms

If you object to any of the terms and conditions set out in this agreement you should not use any of the products or services on the Website and leave immediately.

Is it safe to use my credit card over the internet?

The purchase area of our site is secure. We utilise industry standard SSL technology (Secure Sockets Layer) to guarantee a safe and secure shopping environment. All sensitive information such as credit card details, names and addresses are encrypted. This means that information passed between your computer and our web site cannot be read even in the event it is intercepted by someone else. 

Missing, Damaged or Incorrect Orders 

We try very hard to ensure that you receive your order in pristine condition. If you do not receive all your products, please e-mail us at sales@crooklands.co.uk  or by  telephone (01229 464225) (asking for the web-store Department). In the unlikely event that a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us at orsales@crooklands.co.uk or telephone 01229 464225 (asking for the web-store Department).

Cancellations

If you have chosen to have your order delivered, you can cancel your purchase at any time either before or up to 7 days after delivery by one of the following steps  


1. Returning the product to one of our stores (please bring your receipt with you and the card you paid with, so that it can be credited);

Your product must be complete, unused and in 'as new' condition (e.g. if you have opened the box to examine the product you must have done so without damaging or marking the product in anyway). It should be returned with the original box, packaging and accessories. Any 'Free Gifts' received with the product must also be returned.
You will receive a full refund, and the cancellation is free of charge provided you return the product to a store, arrange for it to be collected by a delivery company. If you choose another method of return, you must bear the costs.

We cannot cancel your purchase when:
• You return your product to a store without proof of purchase;
• The goods were a special order to your specification. 

Return of Faulty Goods - Delivery Items

If there is a fault with your product within 12 months of delivery (or other defect with your order), we will normally offer a prompt repair, exchange or refund. We will always offer you the choice of an exchange or refund if the fault occurs within 28 days of delivery.
To qualify for a refund or exchange the product must be:-
• In otherwise in 'as-new' condition;
• Complete with any accessories and free gifts offered with it (and, if possible, the original box and packaging).

Please return the product to the Web store Department, Crooklands of Dalton, Dalton-In-Furness, Cumbria,La15 8jh on 01229 464225 (9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. If a fault occurs while you are abroad, please contact us after you return to the UK.

This promise does not cover faults caused by accident, neglect, misuse or normal wear and tear. For consumable items (e.g. Food etc) we cannot accept returns.

THIS RETURNS POLICY DOES NOT AFFECT YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS

Modification

Crooklands of Dalton, reserve the right to change any part of this agreement without notice and your use of the Website will be deemed as acceptance of this agreement. We advise users to regularly check the Terms and Conditions of this agreement.
Crooklands of Dalton, have complete discretion to modify or remove any part of this site without warning or liability arising from such action.

Limitation of Liability 

Crooklands of Dalton, will under no circumstance be liable for indirect, special, or consequential damages including any loss of business, revenue, profits, or data in relation to your use of the Website. 
If any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck out and the remaining provisions shall remain in force.

 

Governing Law and Jurisdiction Governing Law and Jurisdiction

 

 This Agreement will be governed by the laws of England and any user of the Website hereby agrees to be bound exclusively by the jurisdiction of English courts without reference to rules governing choice of laws.
